Service Description

Do you have experience wheel throwing and you're ready to push your skills to the next level? Join us for this intermediate class that fuses wheel throwing and hand-building. You'll start by throwing a form on the wheel and then transform it into a unique sculptural or functional masterpiece by altering it with hand-building techniques! During this class, you will have access to pottery wheels, studio tools, a large selection of glazes, kiln firings, class clay, and shared shelf space. Our studio is fully equipped with everything you need to unleash your creativity. You'll spend the first 3 sessions building your piece, then your piece will spend a week being dried and kiln fired. You'll return for your final session to glaze your piece. This means class spans 5 weeks, though 4 are spent in the studio. After the completion of the class, your piece will be fired again and ready for pick up within 2-3 weeks. To ensure personalized instruction and ample access to the pottery wheels, we limit the workshop to a maximum of 7 students per session. This allows for a focused and engaging learning experience
