Whether you're a beginner or experienced, these workshops are designed for all skill levels. Each workshop focuses on a different hand-building project, allowing you to explore various techniques and styles. Your finished pieces will be fired and ready for pickup within 30 days of the workshop date. Reserve your spot for the projects below. Saturday, September 9th - 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM Hand-built Pumpkin Sculptures, Platters or Bowls Unleash your creativity and sculpting skills in this workshop. Learn the fundamentals of hand-building to create unique ceramic Pumpkin sculptures. Explore different techniques such as pinch, slab, and modeling to bring your pumpkins to life. Saturday, October 7th - 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM Pinch Pot Ghosts Once a pinch pots is formed, turn it upside down to make it a ghost, then add some personality! Use tools and imagination to create spooky details like raised arms, flowing draperies, and even ghostly accessories. Saturday, November 4th - 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM Slab-built Platters Discover the versatility of slab-building as you create beautiful platters. Explore different surface decorations and textures to personalize your creations, from intricate carvings to vibrant underglazes. After the firing process, your platters will transform into functional pieces ready to showcase your Holiday foods or become eye-catching centerpieces. Saturday, December 2nd - 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM Holiday Ornaments Get into the festive spirit by hand-building unique ceramic ornaments. Learn various techniques like slab-cutting, carving, and sculpting to create decorative ornaments inspired by the holiday season. Personalize them with glazes and festive accents.
