Service Description

Join our intermediate wheel-throwing class and elevate your ceramic artistry to new heights. This class is designed for those with some prior experience in wheel throwing who are looking to further develop their skills and explore new techniques. Throughout the course, we will delve into the intricacies of wedging, centering, shaping through pulling and lifting, trimming, handle construction, glazing, and basic surface decoration. Under the guidance of our experienced instructor, you will refine your wheel-throwing techniques and gain a deeper understanding of creating both decorative and functional ceramic pieces. We will focus on honing your skills in achieving consistent forms, exploring different shapes and sizes, and experimenting with various. After the completion of the class, your pieces will be fired and ready for pick up within 2-3 weeks. Get ready to embark on an exciting journey in clay and discover the joy of creating beautiful ceramic artworks. Enhance your pottery experience even further by adding an Open Studio Membership for just $100 (a $210 value). With this 6-week Open Studio Membership, you'll have access to the studio outside of class time, allowing you to practice and refine your skills at your convenience. You'll also receive a 25-pound bag of clay to use during your open studio times.
