Service Description

Join us to learn and practice the fundamentals of wheel throwing, an essential technique for creating both decorative and functional ceramic artworks. In this class, we will cover various skills such as wedging, centering, shaping through pulling and lifting, trimming, handle construction, glazing, and basic surface decoration. During the class, you will have access to pottery wheels, studio tools, a large selection of glazes, kiln firings, class clay, and shared shelf space. Our studio is fully equipped with everything you need to dive into the world of clay and unleash your creativity. After the completion of the class, your pieces will be fired and ready for pickup within 2-3 weeks. Enhance your pottery experience even further by adding an Open Studio Membership for $120 (a $225 value). With this 6-week Open Studio Membership, you'll have access to the studio outside of class time, allowing you to practice and refine your skills at your convenience. You'll also receive a 25-pound bag of clay to use during your open studio times. The instructor will provide more details about the Open Studio Membership during the first class session, including the benefits and how to make the payment. You have the option to bring a check or cash to the first class session or be invoiced through our website for the add-on.
