Homeschool Ceramics Workshops
Service Description
Mondays & Fridays, 2:30-4pm Our workshops offer a creative and engaging experience for children aged 5-16 to explore the exciting world of ceramics. During each session, kids will learn various hand-building techniques such as pinch pot, coil building, and slab building under the guidance of our experienced instructors. Design themes include: animal planters, toothbrush holders, ghost, pumpkin, fairy door, character/animal faces, cupcake with lids, monster soap dish. In a supportive and nurturing environment, children will unleash their imagination, develop their motor skills, and create unique ceramic pieces that they can cherish for years to come. Our workshops are designed to foster creativity, confidence, and a love for art. Whether your child is a beginner or has some experience with clay, our workshops provide a fun and educational opportunity to learn new skills and express their creativity. Parents are welcome to sign up along side their child if interested in participating too. Parents can stay and watch, hang out outside, or come back at the end if not participating This is a 1.5-hour workshop. Create your masterpiece and add glaze colors right away! We will then bisque fire and glaze firing your creation. Pieces will be finished and ready for pick up in 2-3 weeks. Our Kids Hand-building Workshops have a minimum of 4 and maximum of 12 participants per session. We maintain small class sizes to ensure individualized instruction and foster a more creative atmosphere.
