Service Description

This unique once a month session is designed to help scouts earn their Pottery Merit Badge while honing their artistic skills. Led by an experienced ceramic instructor who is also a certified Merit Badge Counselor, scouts will receive expert guidance throughout the workshop. The Pottery Merit Badge provides an introduction to pottery making, enabling scouts to gain skills and understanding through hands-on creation. During this workshop, scouts will explore various hand-building and wheel throwing techniques, learning essential pottery terms, and more. The workshop aligns with the requirements for the Pottery Merit Badge. Prerequisites: Participants are required to complete some prerequisites before attending the workshop to fulfill the badge requirements by the end of the session. Please bring your completed research and assignments with you. Prerequisites and the lesson plan will be shared with participants after signing up and securing your spot in the workshop. Our comprehensive lesson plan ensures that participants gain both theoretical knowledge and practical experience in pottery, meeting all necessary requirements for the Pottery Merit Badge. Join us for this exciting adventure and earn your Pottery Merit Badge! All workshops require a minimum of 2 participants to proceed. If the minimum number of participants is not met 48 hours before the workshop, registered participants will receive a cancellation notification. They will be given the option of a full refund, the choice of another workshop of equal value, or the chance to invite friends to reach the minimum. Participants can continue to book until the start time of the workshop. We maintain a maximum of 12 participants per workshop to ensure ample workspace and personalized instruction.
