Join our Glaze Techniques Workshops to explore a range of glazing methods. Whether you’re experienced or just starting out, these hands-on sessions will help you learn new ways to apply glaze to your pottery. You can choose a bisqueware piece from our collection or bring your own bisque fired piece of a mid-fire clay body. Each workshop date focuses on one specific technique, giving you the chance to really learn and practice that method. Discover how different glazes can add color, texture, and pattern to your ceramic work. Monday July 27th Tie Dye Glazing Technique Transfer tie-dye fabric patterns onto mugs for vibrant designs. Monday August 3rd Peacock & Dot Glazing Technique Learn precise layering to craft intricate peacock and dot patterns. Monday August 10th Bubble Glazing Technique Experiment with using dish soap to create unique bubble patterns on your pottery. Monday August 24th All About Resist Glazing Technique Experiment with wax, tape, and stickers to create intricate designs on platters. Monday August 31st Dip Glazing Technique Explore dipping techniques for smooth or layered finishes on plates. While these workshops are primarily designed for adults, teens and kids are welcome when accompanied by an adult. Your finished pieces will be fired and ready for pickup in about a month of the workshop, you receive an email when it is completed.
