Service Description

Join our Glaze Techniques Workshops to explore a range of glazing methods. Whether you’re experienced or just starting out, these hands-on sessions will help you learn new ways to apply glaze to your pottery. You can choose a bisqueware piece from our collection or bring your own bisque fired piece of a mid-fire clay body. Each workshop date focuses on one specific technique, giving you the chance to really learn and practice that method. Discover how different glazes can add color, texture, and pattern to your ceramic work. Tie Dye Glazing Technique Thursday, September 12th & Thursday, November 14th - 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Transfer tie-dye fabric patterns onto mugs for vibrant designs. Peacock & Dot Glazing Technique Thursday, September 26th & Thursday, December 5th - 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Learn precise layering to craft intricate peacock and dot patterns. Bubble Glazing Technique Thursday, October 3rd & Thursday, December 12th - 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Experiment with using dish soap to create unique bubble patterns on your pottery. All About Resist Glazing Technique Thursday, October 17th & Thursday, December 19th - 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Experiment with wax, tape, and stickers to create intricate designs on platters. Dip Glazing Technique Thursday, November 7th - 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Explore dipping techniques for smooth or layered finishes on plates. While these workshops are primarily designed for adults, teens and kids are welcome when accompanied by an adult. Your finished pieces will be fired and ready for pickup within 30 days of the workshop date. Please note that all participants must sign up online before the workshop start time, walk-in participants may be turned away due to limited space. All workshops require a minimum of 4 participants to proceed. If the minimum number of participants is not met 48 hours before the workshop, registered participants will receive a cancellation notification. They will be given the option of a full refund, the choice of another workshop of equal value, or the chance to invite friends to reach the minimum. Participants can continue to book until the start time of the workshop. We maintain a maximum of 12 participants per workshop to ensure ample workspace and personalized instruction.

Cancellation Policy

Notice of Cancellation: Students must provide a minimum of 3 days' notice for canceling their enrollment in a class or workshop to receive a refund. Cancellations should be communicated to the Studio via email, phone, or other designated communication channels. Refunds and Rescheduling: The Studio does not offer refunds or price reductions for missed sessions of classes. In case of a no-call no-show, where a student fails to attend a class without prior notification, no refunds or reschedules will be provided. If a student contacts the Studio at least 24 hours prior to a workshop, they may be eligible to reschedule their attendance for another available workshop. If the Studio cancels a class or workshop, students will be offered either a rescheduled date or a refund. Refund Process: Refunds for orders placed through the Studio's website will be processed, minus a 3% credit card fee deduction. Refunds will be issued using the original payment method, and it may take a reasonable amount of time for the refund to be processed and reflected in the student's account. Refunds will be issued on a case-by-case basis and not all refund requests will be granted, depending on the amount of notice and type of class or workshop. Website Orders: Refunds can only be made for orders placed through the Studio's website. Other forms of payment or registrations may not be eligible for refunds, depending on the circumstances and policies in place. The specific terms and conditions may vary, and it is advisable for students to review the detailed policy provided by the Studio or consult with Studio staff for any clarifications.
